Notes on corrections to original:

Added 1 opinion piece in The Observer notified by Cathy Young

Added 1 piece on Unfashionista identified by data provided by Louise Mensch

Removed 1 piece in The Times which had been entered twice in error

Additional items meeting the criteria after 26 July are being added, without being incorporated into the original data set. This will remain the case unless it ceases to be data saturation, and requires a change in the conclusions.

3 deleted posts on the Unfashionista blog were added on 31 July: Internet Archive versions of these (blog re-posts with comments) were added on 2 August

1 piece in the Standard with section about Louise Mensch reporting on Tim Hunt (20 July) tweeted by Louise Mensch added 1 August

(Note: Personal opinion only, disclosures and disclaimers on the main post.)
